Enter the History Department's Student Paper Competition
Prizes Range from $150-$250

Deadline is Friday, February 11th, 2005.

 

  • Categories include Western and Mormon History, North American History, Third World History, Family History/Genealogy, and more.

  • Papers must have been written in calendar year 2004.

  • Students from all majors may apply.

  • Papers heavily based on primary sources and clearly presented are especially competitive. Additional categories for graduate work.

How to Enter:

  1. Attach to the paper a cover sheet with your name, the course and instructor for whom the paper was written, and your phone number/e-mail address.
  2. Turn in paper to History Department receptionist (2130 JFSB).
  3. Papers sent to the Thetean will be automatically included in this competition unless entrant indicates otherwise.
  4. Faculty members may also submit student papers.
