2018 Internship Scholarship Application.doc
Family History students,
Each year the Center for Family History and Genealogy sponsors scholarships and grants to help students serving internships away from the Wasatch Front. If you are planning an internship during the 2018 calendar year (January through December), now is the time to apply. To be eligible for funding, students must be enrolled full-time (12 credits fall/winter; 6 credits spring/summer) during the semester or term when the scholarship or grant will be applied.
Attached is the application for these funds. Please note that you must have discussed your internship plans with Dr. Auman before your application will be considered. In general, students plan their internships for their junior or senior year after they have completed most of their family history requirements.
Applications for 2018 Center scholarships are due Friday, November 10 by 5:00 pm.
Any student applying for a Center scholarship should seriously consider applying for an internship grant from the FHSS college as well. Deadlines and additional information can be found at: https://fhssinternshipgrants.byu.edu/Pages/Home.aspx
