Amber Larsen teaches Introduction to Family History Doctrine and Practice, and is an Accredited Genealogist®. She received a Bachelor's degree in Family History - Genealogy with an emphasis in Scandinavian genealogy research from Brigham Young University in 2017, and received her professional accreditation in the Denmark region through the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists in 2019. Amber has worked for FamilySearch on the Research Wiki for 5 years, compiling and writing genealogy research materials for homelands around the world. She has presented lectures at the RootsTech and Federation of Genealogical Societies conferences, and currently serves on the exam digitization committee for ICAPGen.
