David Bolingbroke is Research Historian for the Publications Division of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ (LDS) Church History Department. He is currently working as researcher and writer on Saints Volume 4. He received a Ph.D. in American environmental history from Washington State University in December 2020. His research areas include animals, nuclear contamination, environmental restoration, Pacific Northwest agriculture, Nevada fisheries, and Latin American LDS history in the twentieth century. He is currently working on a book project titled Nuclear Animals: Hanford and a World of Environmental Risk, Contamination, and Restoration.
