Kelli Allen is a Qualified Genealogist (QG). Her specialties include English, Scottish, and Australian family history research and early Church emigration. She holds a BS in Business Management from BYU and an MSc in Genealogical, Palaeographic, and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde. Her dissertation entitled "Emigrants to Utah 1854-1860" compared early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who emigrated with help from the Perpetual Emigrating Fund to those who self-financed their travel. Kelli and her husband, Brad, are the parents of three sons.
