Faith and Reason Essay

This contest was established in support of the BYU Aim that education should be spiritually strengthening. As Latter-day Saint scholars, we believe truth can be perceived by faith as well as reason, and that there does not need to be a contradiction between being an open-minded scholar and a devoted follower of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Essays submitted to this contest should explore the intersection between faith and reason in their own life and scholarship.
