Unlike scholarships, which can sometimes only be applied to tuition, internship grants provide funding for travel and living expenses while on your internship.
Need-based grants for students pursuing experiential learning opportunities, including internships.
Need-based grants for students registered for history internship credit.

Individual awards of up to $1,600 available per academic semester.

            Fall: July 15
            Winter: November 15
            Spring/Summer: March 15
Each winter, several scholarships are available for Family History majors to help fund their internship.  Special consideration is given to those who are doing internships outside of Utah.  Interested students should contact CFHG Director, Jill Crandell, 1031 JFSB for more information.

Grants of up to $1,000 for undergraduate study abroad. 
     Application Deadlines:          
            Session A (for programs starting between May 1-November 30): February 15
            Session B (for programs starting between December 1-June 30): September 15


A variety of scholarships can be used to pay your tuition or fund other expenses while on an internship. Visit the History Department to learn about our specific departmental scholarships.


This award (of $500) is for students pursuing an associate or bachelor degree program emphasizing Liberal Arts, General Studies, or Humanities. 

Golden Key Scholarships and Awards
The Golden Key Honor Society offers numerous scholarships each year amounting to $1,000,000 (USD). Scholarships range from study abroad funding and awards of academic excellence to research grants. Each of their many different scholarships requires a different application. 

Institute for Humane Studies 
The Institute for Humane Studies awards up to $15,000 for undergraduate juniors and senior and Masters students interested in advancing liberty through a scholarly career.

Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship
This fellowships is aimed for students who have an interest in pursuing a Foreign Service career in the US department of State.
