To Declare a Pre-Major, make an appointment with our Academic Advisor, Sarah Sauerbier at the Liberal Arts & Advisement Center

Create an Educator Account

What is Educator?
Educator is the online system to track your progress in the teaching major. You must have an Educator account in order to:

  • apply for fingerprinting and background check,
  • apply for the major,
  • and apply for student teaching or internship.

Educator is not a replacement for your course MAP or meeting with your academic advisor as needed.

When and how should I create my account?
Creating an Educator account is one of the first things you should do once you know you want to be a teaching major.
The Educator Student Guide will walk you through creating an account and submitting any necessary applications.
If you have technical problems with your Educator account, contact EPP Technical Support:
801-422-4000 | eppsupport@byu.edu
